Dr. Anna Maria Pleser-Scher

Dr Anna Maria Pleser-Scher studied Social and Cognitive Psychology at Jacobs University in Bremen and Organisational and Social Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science in London. She completed her doctorate with a focus on organisational identity and leadership behaviour at the EBS University of Business and Law. Before her academic career, she trained as a physiotherapist.

In addition to numerous activities as a lecturer at various private universities and colleges in the field of strategic marketing and psychology, she gained diverse professional and research experience. These include h&z Consulting AG, the Max Planck Institute for Cognitive and Neuroscience Leipzig, and Elsevier.

Her specialist areas of focus include organisational and social psychology, health psychology and health behaviour, and foundations of clinical psychology.

Since March 2021, Dr Anna Maria Pleser-Scher has been Lecturer of Psychology at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Berlin and Hamburg.
