Since her media design studies in 2003, she has been working as a freelance director, video artist, camerawoman, and exhibition curator. She creates film installations for museums and video projections for theatre, produces cinema trailers and short reports for ARTE, the Deutsche Kinemathek, the German Historical Museum, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Berliner Festspiele, Max Richter, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop, the German Music Fund, and others. Since 2018 and during the pandemic, she has been working intensively in the field of livestreaming. A major focus of her work is her own documentary films. One of her key areas of interest is Nepal, where she has been working on a long-term film study of the Shangrila orphans since 2004.
