Dr. Wei-Hung Pan is a data scientist focused on early-phase drug development in the pharmaceutical industry. With a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, he brings over a decade of experience in data science, particularly within the life sciences. Since 2022, he has also taught mathematics, statistics, and data science at universities in Germany. In his free time, he is dedicated to community service as a church member, engaging in youth outreach and supporting refugee families.
Dr. Wei-Hung Pan possesses a diverse skill set spanning bioinformatics, statistics, data science, and data engineering. With a background in mathematics and statistics from his bachelor's and master's studies, he now focuses on software development (including CI/CD), DevOps, cloud-based data pipeline construction, machine learning modeling, statistical analysis, experimental design, and programming in R and Python.
