Prof. Dr. Ingo Bildstein studied psychology at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf with a focus on training in occupational psychology and ergonomics, cognitive psychology, as well as diagnostics and personality research.
The minor in occupational medicine already shows the interdisciplinary basic approach to lifelong knowledge acquisition, which was further deepened in a PhD programme at the University of Liechtenstein and led to a doctorate in economics with a focus on entrepreneurship and international management. A research stay at Zhejiang University, Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences in Hangzhou, China added the important intercultural perspective on the future topics of motivational, cultural and leadership frameworks for effective knowledge work.
Numerous teaching assignments at renowned private and state universities in the disciplines of management, psychology and early childhood education then laid the foundation for a type of teaching that transfers factual knowledge into valuable action knowledge through innovative teaching formats such as business games and case studies based on practical experience. And no one said that you can't have a good laugh in a seminar with Vigor and Relevance.
Ingo Bildstein has been Professor of Business Psychology since March 2020, having already become a university lecturer and course director for the Business Psychology course at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Iserlohn in September 2019.
