Professor Burkhardt is currently in the Business Department as a professor of communication and marketing management. Prof. Burkhardt has earned experience in the last ten years as Senior Marketing Manager at Mozilla, Head of Strategic Planning at Media Consulta Int. Group, Content Team Lead at FIFA, Strategic Planner at Media Consulta Int. Group, and Strategic Planner at Goldenen Hirschen Berlin GmbH. Prof. Burkhardt, studied history, Romance languages and literature, as well as art history in Cologne and Berlin. In 2005, he received his doctorate from Freie Universität Berlin. From 2005 to 2011, he was a research associate and deputy director of the Institute for Media and Communication Policy in Berlin. Today he is a strategist at the communications agency Zum Goldenen Hirschen.
