Professor Lipp has been with UE since 2005 as a lecturer, research assistant, and now he is a Professor for Digital Transformation and Professor for Communication Design. Prof. Lipp is an expert in the area of Communication Design, specifically in interactive systems and UX/UI design. Before coming to UE, Prof. Lipp earned a Diploma in Media Informatics at the Wedel University of Applied Sciences and went on to acquire a Ph.D. on the subject of Multimedia Pioneering Projects of the 19th and 20th centuries. This required knowledge of Media Science, Theory, and History as well as Multi Screen Learning. Afterward, he was working as a Product Innovation Manager for a start-up producing e-blocker products.
