UE Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence in Education!
2025 marks a significant milestone in UE’s journey – our 25th anniversary! For a quarter of a century, we’ve been shaping the future through innovative education, international collaboration, and a strong focus on practical learning. From our beginnings to becoming one of Germany’s leading private universities, we’ve grown together with our students, alumni, faculty, and partners across the globe.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we’re hosting a special anniversary event on our Iserlohn campus – the birthplace of UE. Join us as we look back on our achievements, share inspiring stories from the UE community, and look ahead to the exciting future of education.

UE becomes university partner of BVB
Since 1 July 2022, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences has been the first official university partner of one of the most renowned German football clubs in the world: Borussia Dortmund. In addition to exclusive guest lectures and sporting events with BVB employees and BVB legends, the highlight of the cooperation is a BVB scholarship that covers 100% of the tuition fees. The official start of the cooperation was celebrated at the UE Sports Day at the Sports and Entrepreneurship Campus in Iserlohn, where BVB legend Roman Weidenfeller was also present.
