The aim of the module is to provide the student with a comprehensive overview of the basic and typical functions and processes of an organisation in the health sector, as well as with tools and techniques for managing an organisation in the health
sector.

In the MBA Health Service Management program, students delve into describing the economic principles as conceptual tools in the healthcare sector, identifying the main sources of financing and the important role of all parties involved, such as healthcare entities, patients, and insurance companies. Students analyse the core objectives of finance management in healthcare industry and
describe the primary role of healthcare financial managers in
developing and implementing strategies. Student can review the three main categories for hospital revenues, such as patient services revenue, operating revenue, and non-operating revenue,
