Spotlight-Module: "Online Sortimente"

You are able to analyse and define the product range in terms of breadth, depth, demand, competition and future developments. You will identify the need for change, taking into account the company's market strategies.
After successfully completing the module, you will be able to derive legal regulations for product presentation, including information obligations, name and trademark law, copyrights and unfair competition. You will prepare product titles, details and the audiovisual presentation for the online sales channel. For international offers, you will also record product data and descriptions in a foreign language. After this course, you will be able to develop suggestions for improving the online presentation and adhere to design and sales psychology principles, legal regulations and company guidelines.

Your studies at a glance

Are you interested in economic relationships? And do you feel at home in the digital world? Then start your dual studies in Business & E-commerce. In addition to core knowledge in business administration and economics, you will gain deep insights into the world of digital commerce. In small learning groups you address specific questions and requirements of companies and can apply your knowledge directly during the practice phases at your practice partner company.

The dual course of study enables you to get started in a variety of professions that require a thorough understanding of retail and digital processes - for this you will go through modules such as strategic customer relationship management, strategic value creation processes, controlling and taxes.

Why dual studies at UE

The Business & E-Commerce study programme was developed with the South Westphalian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Business School 1 - Vocational College of the City of Hagen and leading companies from various sectors from the South Westphalia region and is tailored precisely to the requirements of today's trade. This degree programme has a special trial character that is unique on the market. You will receive two degrees within 3.5 years of study - a Bachelor of Science in Business and a professional qualification as an e-commerce specialist.

Your practice partner will pay you a fixed salary from the first day of your studies. Many practice partners are willing to cover the costs of your studies and are interested in continuing to work with you after you have completed your studies. Thanks to in-depth practical experience and an extended professional network, you will have a clear advantage when you start your career - either directly with your practice partner or in other industries.
